ACTING & STUNTS

Derek has 23+ years of experience in the industry. He has worked at every major studio in California as an actor, a stunt actor, and a crew member. He is a SAG-AFTRA member who has been involved in SAG politics and voting for the last 15 years. 

IT STARTS FROM THE SCRIPT

As a writer, Derek has sold several screenplays to major and independent studios and produced his own body of work through Derek Easley Entertainment and partnering production houses. Through his success, that experience has been translated into teaching and copywriting. His experience and know-how can create an informative and engaging way to tell a story through brand marketing and web design. 

LBAFA

Because of this experience and passion for the industry, he co-founded the Long Beach Acting and Film Association (LBAFA). A free to attend monthly meetings and workshops for people in the industry who want to network and grow in their passions. Every meeting there is a feature speaker(s) who discuss their expertise in their niche of filmmaking. Derek Easley is a well known name in Long Beach filmmaking and many from all over the country ask for his advice and know how.
